Responsibilities of the Warehouse Lead
Communicate daily priorities, expectations, and operational updates to the team.
Support supervisors in achieving productivity, quality, and service targets.
Promote and enforce all safety policies and procedures, conducting routine safety observations.
Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures and verify accurate product handling.
Assist with inventory control, audits, and cycle counts.
Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) and ensure equipment inspections are completed.
Maintain accurate records of operational activities and escalate concerns to management.
Requirements of the Warehouse Lead
Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role.
Strong understanding of safety and compliance regulations.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment and conduct equipment inspections.
Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying warehouse conditions.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with frequent bending and reaching.
