JOB
This part-time seasonal position is responsible for maintaining a safe and positive environment at Bouws Pool. Under the supervision of the Pool Manager, Lifeguards monitor pool activities, enforce facility rules, respond to emergencies, and provide excellent customer service to all patrons.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in and around the aquatic facility.Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies and provide care until emergency medical personnel arrive if needed.Enforce pool rules and safety procedures in a professional and consistent manner.Provide a high level of customer service while maintaining a professional appearance and attitude.Assist with daily cleaning, maintenance, and general upkeep of the facility.Complete incident reports and other required documentation as directed.Work cooperatively with supervisors and fellow staff members to maintain safe and efficient operations.Attend required staff meetings and trainings.Perform other duties as assigned.
