Description:
PrimeCare Medical Inc., is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to work as the Psychiatric Nurse in the Medical Department at the Lancaster County Prison located in Lancaster, PA.
This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, either 7:00am- 3:30pm or 8:00am-4:30pm.
LPN hourly rate: $29.50
RN hourly rate: $40.00
Job Responsibilities:
The Psychiatric Nurse is responsible for the clinical monitoring, coordinating, and implementing of the mental health program in accordance with NCCHC/ACA Standards and PCM policies and procedures. Other responsibilities will include:

Serve as the PCM mental health liaison between the medical unit, facility staff, and psychiatric/psychological services outside the facility.

Facilitates admission and placement of inmates/patients in forensic and community Mental Health facilities.

Monitors all psychiatric/psychological services provided.

Monitor the standards of care in accordance with NCCHC and accepted psychiatric/ psychological standards.

Is a member of the Quality Assurance Committee.

Develops and conducts in-service education programs according to annual in-service calendar.

Requirements:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
