Overview
Looking for reliable, friendly, detail-oriented medical assistant to work with a busy general dermatologist. Must be a team player, dedicated to excellence, professionalism and care about patients. Certified Medical Assistant preferred, but will consider years of experience as qualification. Medical experience a MUST: Dermatology experience a plus!

Duties
- Assist in patient intake, including recording vital signs and medical history.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including coding for billing purposes.
- Support the clinical team with various tasks in outpatient setting.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with patients and staff.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
Skills
- Proficiency in patient service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to various specialties, including medical-surgical care.
- Experience working in a clinic is highly desirable.
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs.
- Familiarity with coding practices for effective documentation and billing processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records and ensure efficient workflow.
