- Answer incoming calls and schedule office visits and follow up appointments
- Obtain and verify insurance information and document accurate demographics and patient data efficiently
- Will work closely with referral sources to include physicians, adjusters and case managers as needed
- Filing, Faxing, documenting in EMR and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Prior medical front office or medical customer service experience preferred
- Experience with insurance verification, phone and email etiquette
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
- EPIC or other electronic medical records experience preferred
- Must be reliable, punctual, able to multitask in a busy environment with high call and patient volume
- High School diploma or equivalent required (GED)
