About the Role
As a Yard Operations Technician, you will serve as a vital contributor to our material processing and site logistics. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of inventory and maintaining the operational integrity of our outdoor production zones, directly impacting our overall site efficiency and safety standards.
Responsibilities-
Execute material handling tasks to ensure the consistent movement of inventory across log and storage yards.

Support production throughput by assisting with mill feeding and kiln operations.

Maintain a high standard of site organization and environmental cleanliness to promote a safe workplace.

Utilize heavy machinery and manual labor techniques to manage raw materials and by-products.

Collaborate with the production team to track inventory levels and verify material accuracy.

Perform routine site maintenance to ensure all outdoor work areas remain functional and hazard-free.
Qualifications-
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Physical capability to perform demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for long durations.

Proven ability to work effectively in diverse outdoor weather conditions.

Strong commitment to following workplace safety protocols and operational guidelines.

2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Prior background in lumber, wood products, or outdoor heavy industrial operations.
