The Print and Mail Systems Analyst (Administrative Officer 2) position with the Department of General Services offers a chance to support important statewide operations in a dynamic environment. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This role supports the development, improvement, and oversight of key applications and processes used across the Bureau. You will manage complex technical tasks that support print production, data workflows, and customer applications. As a Print and Mail Systems Analyst, you will perform the following duties:

Application Oversight: Provide development and oversight for major applications such as customer portals, workflow tools, and production systems

User Collaboration: Work with users to identify challenges and improve the function and layout of internal and external applications

System Management: Manage and maintain the PaPublisher system and ensure successful integration with print production operations

Variable Data Expertise: Design variable data print streams and manage related resources to meet project and regulatory requirements

Software Configuration: Customize production software to meet workflow, printing, and mail inserting needs across the Bureau

Process Coordination: Coordinate system updates, documentation, and testing to ensure strong performance and minimal downtime

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

Essential Employee - Required to report to work during emergencies and office closings.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, flexible. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
