Dental Assistant – Baxter Dental Center

Baxter Dental Center is a warm, community-centered dental office in Baraboo, Wisconsin, and we are looking for a caring, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team.
We are a patient-focused private practice with a loyal patient base, supportive team culture, and a strong commitment to quality care. What You’ll Do
- Assist the doctor during dental procedures and help provide a smooth, comfortable patient experience
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care
- Take digital x-rays as needed
- Review and update patient medical histories
- Charting, clinical notes, and treatment documentation
- Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols
- Support patient communication and help answer basic treatment-related questions
- Work closely with the front desk and clinical team to keep the day running smoothly
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, dependable, and patient-focused attitude

- Good attention to detail and ability to stay organized
- Comfortable working in a clinical setting and learning dental procedures
- Prior dental assisting experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
- Experience with digital x-rays, sterilization, charting, and dental software is a plus
- A calm and caring approach with patients, especially those who may feel anxious

Pay
$20–$26 per hour, based on experience
Experienced dental assistants may be considered at the higher end of the range.
