Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction plumbing and a strong mechanical aptitude. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The Plumber will work closely with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Job Responsabilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout of plumbing systems.
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain equipment and inventory in plumbing spaces for maximum efficiency.
- Exhibit professional conduct at all times, whether on the job site or driving company vehicles.
- Perform pipe threading and assembly tasks with precision.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Conduct soldering as necessary for specific plumbing installations.
- Collaborate with construction teams on job sites to ensure plumbing work aligns with overall project goals.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks as required for moving materials or equipment.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, efficiency, and organization.
Requirements:
- Active Plumber License required.
- Attention to detail and punctuality.
- Ideal candidate aims to continuously build knowledge and skills, and share expertise with others.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices and plumbing techniques.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to plumbing systems and tools.
- Experience with pipe threading, assembly.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
- Previous construction site experience is preferred.
- Capability for heavy lifting as required by the job demands.
- Must treat people with respect, work with integrity and ethically, and uphold organizational values.
- Mulst follow policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks correctly and on time.
- Journeyman Plumbers preferred, but open to serious Aprentice Plumbers who are open to develop their skills and grow with the company long term.
- Compensation varies depending on experience and background.
