Duties
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other drink service items with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy using cash-handling procedures and perform basic math calculations for change and sales totals
- Restock supplies regularly to ensure the availability of ingredients, cups, utensils, and other essentials for smooth operations
- Follow food safety protocols during food preparation and beverage service to uphold health standards and quality assurance
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities
- Knowledge of non-alcoholic beverage preparation techniques and food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing payments, and balancing registers
- Commitment to food safety standards and cleanliness in all aspects of food preparation and service
