Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with their selections.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Manage cash handling accurately during transactions, including processing payments and providing change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns regarding their meals.
- Assist in setting up for banquets or catering events as needed, ensuring all details meet guest expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas throughout service.
- Engage with guests to promote specials, upsell menu items, and enhance their overall experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices related to food handling.
- Experience in nightclub settings or banquet service is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
