Carl F. Riedell & Son, a trusted Cape Cod company specializing in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and air quality services, is seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in residential and light commercial electrical work and a commitment to safe, high-quality installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and light commercial settings
- Collaborate with HVAC installers and other trades on integrated projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using diagnostic equipment, logic controllers, and testing tools
- Ensure compliance with NEC regulations, local building codes, and company safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Licensed Journeyperson Electrician with proven field experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and installation techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment
- Familiarity with NEC standards, building codes, and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid Driver’s License required
