Presidential Oaks, is an independent, non profit, bronze award winning, and highly recognized-Long Term Care Community, located in Concord, NH. The center has 60 LTC beds, 14 Skilled, and 20 Assisted Living Beds with a small RL residence. We are now searching to select a new Director of Nursing Services whom will work with the entire nursing team to ensure that highest level of resident centered care.
The Director of Nursing services will have the responsibilities to :
- Direct, manage, and coordinate nursing care with the interdisciplinary team.
- Develop and maintain nursing policies, procedure and protocols.
- Perform rounds, observe care, and provide quality assurance to ensure that all nursing care is at Federal and State requirements.
- Review all incident reports for completeness and compliance; develop corrective action; and report results to the appropriate authorities.
- Ensure infection control procedures are followed and in compliance with the IC stewardship program.
- Develop, implement, and maintain an effective nursing orientation and education program.
- Complete and review nursing competencies on an annual basis.
- Manage all nursing aspects of the annual State recertification survey.
- Monitor staff performance, ensure adequate training, and document performance improvement attempts.
- Function within the Nursing Administration team to ensure a proper on-call rotation to cover for nursing emergencies.
- Vacation coverage by Administrator who is an RN-Prior DON

Experience with PCC EMR system is essential .
