Position Summary
The Program Coordinator supports the delivery of client services and programs at Building Hope Together. This position coordinates property legal services from intake through completion, facilitates digital literacy classes for older adults, and supports ongoing client engagement.
The Program Coordinator works closely with clients, attorneys, and community partners to ensure services are delivered efficiently and compassionately. This position reports to the Executive Director.
Legal Services Coordination
- Conduct client intake and gather required documentation.
- Coordinate appointments between clients, attorneys, and notaries.
- Track legal cases from intake through completion.
- Ensure legal documents are completed, filed, and organized.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and legal partners.
Digital Literacy Classes
- Schedule and organize digital literacy classes at office or partner locations
- Prepare class materials and communicate with participants.
- Teach classes on topics such as:
- Computer and tablet basics
- Email and internet safety
- Social media
- Google Workspace
- Artificial intelligence
- Medical ID and other digital tools
- Complete required program training within the first 30 days of employment.
Client Engagement
- Coordinate post-service surveys with Persons with Lived Experience (PLE).
- Organize client appreciation gifts.
- Coordinate home blessings with partner churches or community partners.
- Maintain ongoing engagement with former clients
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the organization's mission.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Comfortable teaching small groups of older adults.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance are required.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with older adults, customers, or the public.
- Experience in an administrative, customer service, education, or community-based role.
