Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing of sales transactions
- Upsell menu items, including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food, beverages, and cocktails efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations; assist with bussing and food handling as needed
- Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently and optimize table turnover
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong background in fine dining preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for seamless order entry and sales processing
- Demonstrated cocktail experience along with spirits knowledge to confidently recommend drink pairings and upsell beverages
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude; able to handle guest relations professionally
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and sales transactions
- Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards in the food industry
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and serving tasks
