Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Quality Technician CMM Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and optimize CMM programs using PC-DMIS and other programming software to measure intricate components with precision.
- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other precision measurement instruments such as height gauges, bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to perform detailed dimensional inspections.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure parts meet strict quality standards.
- Conduct comprehensive quality control inspections in accordance with ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, and ASME codes & standards for aerospace and manufacturing industries.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of dimensional discrepancies and implement corrective actions aligned with quality assurance protocols.
- Maintain detailed inspection records, calibration logs, and quality documentation in compliance with ISO 9001 and industry regulations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing measurement data trends and recommending process enhancements for increased accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Quality Technician or CMM Programmer within an aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical proficiency in CMM programming software such as PC-DMIS; experience with Calypso is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of quality standards including ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ASME codes & standards, and blueprint reading skills.
- Demonstrated ability to perform dimensional inspection using precision measuring instruments like height gauges, bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and schematics.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks for interpreting technical drawings and schematics; experience with CAD/CAM integration is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge of tooling, machining processes, CNC operations, and technical drawing interpretation.
- Strong math skills essential for precise measurement calculations and analysis of inspection data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to quality assurance challenges.
- Ability to operate machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols related to manufacturing environments.

Pay: $41.00 - $45.00 per hour
