Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full Time MRI Technologist to join our dynamic medical imaging team. In this vital role, you will operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce detailed images of patients’ internal structures, assisting physicians in diagnosing a wide range of conditions. Your expertise will contribute to accurate and timely diagnoses, ensuring exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans with precision, adhering to established protocols and safety standards to produce high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the scan
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, including calibration, troubleshooting, and routine quality control checks
- Apply aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection and maintain a sterile environment
- Review images for clarity and accuracy before submitting them for physician review; collaborate with radiologists to optimize image quality
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance records while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards
Experience
- Proven experience operating MRI equipment in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of medical imaging principles
- Solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology relevant to imaging procedures
- Experience applying aseptic techniques and maintaining sterile environments during invasive or semi-invasive procedures
- Ability to interpret basic diagnostic images and assist in the evaluation process under supervision or independently as appropriate
- Prior exposure to medical imaging modalities comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate
