We are seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Production Welder. This role is essential in supporting our fabrication and manufacturing operations, ensuring high-quality welding and assembly of components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
Duties
- Operate various welding processes including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding to fabricate metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines for fabrication tasks.
- Perform pipe threading and ductwork assembly as required by project needs.
- Conduct rigging operations safely to move materials and components within the construction site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project deadlines efficiently.
Skills
- Proficient in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding.
- Familiarity with mechanical tools such as calipers, micrometers, and basic math for precise measurements.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery safely.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes and assembly techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality control during manufacturing processes. This position requires a proactive approach to work while demonstrating strong attention to detail and safety awareness in all tasks performed.
