We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and maintenance for our equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in the field. This position requires travel to various locations, where you will ensure that our clients receive top-notch service and support.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using schematics and logic controllers.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on hydraulic systems.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment operation.
- Collaborate with the technical sales team to identify customer needs and provide solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and customer interactions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on-site.
Skills
- Proficient in welding techniques, including stick welding.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting methods.
- Experience with hydraulics and related components.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Previous experience in field service or technical support is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
