Overview
Join our team as a Diesel Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing a wide range of trucks and equipment. Your expertise will directly contribute to the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our fleet and machinery. The majority of the role will be maintaining and repairing our transportation fleet.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and air brake systems across various heavy equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, alignment checks, and HVAC system servicing to ensure optimal operation.
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractor-trailers, and other farm or industrial machinery safely and efficiently during maintenance or repair tasks.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and air brakes.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other fabrication tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working on large equipment or components.
Compensation will be based on experience.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
