Responsibilities
- Efficiently deliver food from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while adhering to safe lifting practices and proper manual handling techniques.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and seat guests promptly as a host.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables, bussing dishes, and assisting with general cleaning duties to uphold food safety standards.
- Assist in food preparation and handling when needed, supporting kitchen staff with basic tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and guest transactions with accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly.
- Support banquet or special event setups when required, ensuring all guest services are executed flawlessly.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with food handling, safety protocols, and basic kitchen or hospitality tasks enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting confidently with guests and team members.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus but training will be provided.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, including carrying trays or boxes of supplies, is important for maintaining efficiency during busy periods.
- Prior banquet or large event experience can be advantageous but is not required; we welcome candidates eager to grow their hospitality expertise.
