Overview
We are looking for a General Manager at our Staybridge Suites Louisville Expo , where your leadership will drive excellence in hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, ensuring seamless coordination and outstanding service delivery.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize revenue, optimize occupancy rates, and enhance overall profitability through effective revenue management techniques.
- Oversee guest relations by ensuring exceptional customer service standards are maintained, addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally to foster loyalty.
- Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a motivated and high-performing team.
- Maintain strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, monitor financial performance, control costs, and prepare accurate reports for senior management.
- Oversee daily administrative tasks including night audits, multi-line phone systems management, phone etiquette standards, and front desk operations to ensure efficiency.
- Promote a positive work environment by encouraging teamwork, leadership development, and open communication across all hotel departments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations with supervising responsibilities; previous experience in a resort setting is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems, revenue management strategies, budgeting processes, and guest services standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a culture of hospitality excellence.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and resolving issues effectively.
- IHG experience is preferred, not required.
