- Build and maintain a strong prospect pipeline through cold calling, referrals, and approved lead sources
- Obtain, prepare, and follow up on underwriting, rating, and other necessary information for new submissions and account retention
- Complete applications and perform basic risk analysis for both new and existing accounts as needed
- Execute assigned components of the agency’s strategic sales plan with coaching and leadership support
- Collaborate with marketing and support teams to ensure timely, accurate, and complete submissions
- Represent carrier partners, preferred vendors, and the organization professionally in all interactions
- Maintain a strong focus on accuracy and compliance to minimize errors and omissions exposure
- Actively pursue personal and professional development through required coursework, licensing, and career pathways
- Active insurance license (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven sales mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn the sales software
