Location: Laconia, New Hampshire
Pay Rate: $1,900 To $2,088/Week
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent acute care Medical/Surgical experience with Advanced Telemetry required
About the Role
We are seeking a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week Float Pool contract in Laconia, New Hampshire. This position requires strong telemetry skills, experience managing cardiac drips, and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. First-time travelers with strong experience are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical/Surgical patients with Advanced Telemetry needs
Monitor and manage Cardizem and Insulin drips (for hyperglycemia, not DKA) and care for patients receiving Phenobarbital on telemetry
Assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and document accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care
Float to designated units or Concord Hospital-Laconia as required based on patient care needs
Requirements
Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License required at submission
Minimum 2 years of recent acute care Medical/Surgical experience with Advanced Telemetry required
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Certifications required
Ability to pass the Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Exam with a minimum score of 80%
Recent travel experience preferred; first-time travelers with strong experience will be considered
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred but not required
