Position Overview
Thank you for your interest in the Chernov Team! We are looking for a Licensed Real Estate Assistant to join the team. This is a full time, in-person position, at our office in Sherman Oaks. We are a very busy and fast growing Real Estate team, and we need someone who can jump right in with expertise and experience at the ready.
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, self sufficient, and detail-oriented Licensed Real Estate Assistant to support our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring a seamless experience for clients throughout the listing and showing process.
The Licensed Real Estate Assistant will serve as the team's eyes and ears in the field, coordinating showings, inspections/appraisals, property preparation and communication with clients and vendors while also assisting with social media engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule, confirm, and manage all property showings.
- Coordinate inspections, appraisals, contractor visits, and other property-related appointments.
- Follow up with agents after showings to obtain and document feedback.
- Ensure all appointments are properly communicated to sellers and team members.
- Conduct regular property check-ins and report any issues requiring attention.
- Oversee repairs, maintenance, staging updates, and vendor work at listings.
- Coordinate with sellers, contractors, and Team Lead to ensure all property-related tasks are completed efficiently.
- Assist with preparing homes for showings, open houses, photography, and marketing events.
- Ensure properties are properly prepared and presentable prior to open house events.
- Leading social media marketing and all channels with daily video walkthroughs - comfortable with your face being on camera.
- Monitor all social media platforms for comments, direct messages, and inquiries.
- Respond to or route inquiries to the appropriate team member in a timely manner.
- Assist with social media marketing initiatives and content execution.
- Assist with miscellaneous team projects and day-to-day operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Real estate experience required.
- Active California real estate license required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable using social media platforms and being in front of a camera, CRM systems, and real estate technology.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between properties.
Schedule
- Full-time, in office position.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
