We're looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our service department. As a technician, you'll play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles to ensure safety, performance, and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of automotive repairs on both gas and diesel vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues using OEM diagnostic equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance: oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, alignments, and brake services
- Repair or replace worn parts, including suspension components, exhaust systems, and drive trains
- Perform AC service, tune-ups, battery testing and replacement
- Conduct detailed vehicle inspections and identify safety or maintenance concerns
- Accurately document labor, parts used, and findings for each job in the repair order system
- Collaborate with service advisors to explain diagnostics and repairs to customers when needed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge through factory training, webinars, and in-house workshops
- Uphold cleanliness, organization, and safety in the shop and work bay areas
- Assist other technicians when needed and foster a supportive team environment
- Demonstrate professionalism with every customer interaction
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician preferred
- ASE Certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience with Ford vehicles a plus
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
