Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
- Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately, including processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
- Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with sanitation standards
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and cashiering procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
- Basic math skills for accurate check splitting, cash handling, and billing procedures
- Previous serving experience is highly desirable to ensure smooth guest flow and seating arrangements
- Knowledge of OpenTable reservations system or similar booking platforms is advantageous
