Key Responsibilities
- Beverage Crafting & POS Operations: Expertly mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks while accurately processing orders through the POS system.
- Order Management: Promptly capture food and beverage orders with a sharp eye for detail.
- Guest Engagement: Deliver top-tier customer service by interacting with patrons, answering menu inquiries, and offering tailored recommendations.
- Payment Processing: Execute secure cash handling and checkout duties with complete accuracy and integrity.
- Sanitation & Compliance: Uphold pristine cleanliness and organization across all bar and dining spaces, strictly adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Event & Food Support: Assist with food handling, table service, and special event catering (such as banquets and private parties).
- High-Volume Efficiency: Masterfully manage your time during peak shifts to guarantee rapid, high-quality service across multiple bar stations and tables.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Prior bartending background, ideally within a local bar, dive bar, or nightclub setting.
- Pacing & Time Management: Exceptional ability to seamlessly navigate heavy foot traffic and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
- Communication: Outstanding interpersonal skills to build quick, positive rapport with patrons.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of food service operations and cocktail mixing techniques.
- Flexibility: Availability to work a varying schedule, encompassing nights, weekends, and holiday shifts as business dictates.
- Certification: Possession of (or willingness to secure) a NY Food Handlers Certificate within the first 90 days of employment.
- Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older to legally serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with local laws.
Pay: From $11.50 per hour
