Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address potential security issues.
- Monitor surveillance cameras (CCTV) to oversee activity and detect suspicious behavior.
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if certified.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security reports.
- Enforce property rules and policies with professionalism and conflict management skills.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to ensure safety.
Experience
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, or conflict management are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail for monitoring activities and identifying risks.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse groups of people.
