Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with intake procedures to ensure accurate documentation.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and assisting with positioning as needed.
- Support physicians during procedures.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently by documenting patient encounters and updating medical histories.
- Assist with specimen collection, basic laboratory tests, and preparing patients for surgical procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, coordinating follow-up appointments, and ensuring comfort throughout visits.
Requirements
- Experience in clinical settings such as dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or medical-surgical units is preferred.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
- Hands-on experience with EHR systems and proficiency in managing patient data securely.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care excellence.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
