Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shift Leader to oversee daily operations on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a hands-on approach to managing tasks. This role requires a solid understanding of various construction processes, including fencing concrete finishing, and landscape maintenance. As a Shift Leader, you will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of crews on-site.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Oversee heavy lifting and equipment operation while maintaining safety standards.
- Provide training and support to team members in set skills
- Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to management.
- Maintain effective communication with team members and other stakeholders.
- Assist in the planning and execution of daily tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets company standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the construction industry is preferred.
- Strong background in fencing, masonry, or construction oelated fields.
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety practices on construction sites.
- Experience in landscape maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while leading by example.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
