Axiom Consultants, Inc, is seeking a skilled PHP Developer to provide support to the NOAA Fisheries Greater Atlantic Regional Fisheries Office (GARFO).
Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance web-based applications using PHP 7 and modern frameworks such as CodeIgniter 4.

Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL scripts and queries for Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and implement user-friendly, secure, and scalable solutions.

Integrate applications with APIs and services using JSON, OpenID, and OIDC protocols.

Manage code versions and collaborate in a shared development environment using Git and GitHub.

Deploy and support applications in a Linux-based environment, utilizing command-line tools for setup and maintenance.

Contribute to cloud-based development initiatives within AWS, ensuring performance, security, and reliability standards are met.

Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups.
The PHP Developer selected should have the following:
-
3+ years of professional PHP development experience, with strong PHP 7 skills

3+ years of creating SQL scripts
The Ideal PHP Developer will also have the following:

Experience using Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL, Cloud AWS Environment, JSON, Linux, GitHub, Command-Line Git, CodeIgnitor 4, OpenID, and OIDC
