Job Title: Front of House Manager (PM)
The front of house manager has to have the ability to be a good leader, communicate clearly and effectively, multitask, anticipate issues, manage labor, support the staff's needs and hold staff accountable. Managers are responsible for running efficient daily operations, as well as maintaining high productivity from staff and ensuring our guests are getting quality food, drink and service. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Communicate and support the BOH efficiently
- The ability to give clear guidances and communicate effectively
- Attentively listener
- Time management skills
- Praise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
- The ability to multiple tasks and prioritize on the fly
- Continuously table touch
- Balance seating capacity
- Respond professionally to customer complaints
- Troubleshoot issues efficiently
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Enforce company rules/policies and partner with GM to execute disciplinary action if necessary
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and scheduling
- Supervise employee break and rest periods
- Oversees opening and closing tasks
- Ensure execution of daily deep cleans and side work
- Estimate future needs for goods like glassware, forks, knives etc.
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
- Ensuring all end of day cash outs are completed accurately
- Astute money management skills
- Point of sale system experience
- A solution oriented mindset and willingness to help is an absolute must
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment for long periods of time.
- Must be able to bend and kneel and have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds repetitively
