Responsibilities:

Support the Director of Nursing in leading and developing a team of nursing professionals

Oversee daily nursing operations, staffing, and scheduling to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance

Ensure high-quality resident care through comprehensive assessments and individualized care plans
-
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
-
Support quality improvement initiatives, including survey readiness and plans of correction
-
Coach, mentor, and develop team members to promote engagement and performance excellence
-
Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations
-
Partner with leadership and education teams to support training and staff development
Requirements:
-
Active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Michigan
-
Strong background in electronic charting software technology and Microsoft office suite
-
Comfortable with being on call
- CPR certification required

Knowledge of long-term care practices, regulations, and standards
-
Previous experience in long-term care or with geriatric populations preferred
-
At least 1 year of nursing leadership or supervisory experience

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
