Position Summary
The Meineke Store Manager is responsible for the full operational, financial, and customer performance of a Meineke Car Care Centers location. This role ensures the shop runs efficiently, meets revenue and profitability targets, maintains high service quality, and builds a reliable team of technicians and service advisors. The manager is accountable for both retail and fleet business development while enforcing brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee daily shop operations including workflow, bay utilization, and turnaround times
- Ensure accurate diagnostics, repair quality, and adherence to standard operating procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility in line with OSHA and company requirements
Financial Performance
- Manage P&L, including labor margins, parts margins, and cost controls
- Drive sales through proper inspection processes, estimates, and upselling of needed services
- Monitor KPIs such as car count, average repair order (ARO), and technician productivity
Customer Service
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and handle escalated concerns
- Build long-term relationships with repeat customers and local fleet accounts
- Maintain strong online reputation through reviews and follow-up
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and retain technicians and service advisors
- Set performance expectations and enforce accountability
- Manage scheduling
Business Development
- Develop local marketing initiatives to increase car count
- Build relationships with commercial and fleet clients
- Execute corporate promotions and pricing strategies
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of automotive repair management experience
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair processes
- Proven ability to manage P&L and hit financial targets
- Leadership experience in a high-volume service environment
- Familiarity with shop management systems and POS software

Work Environment

- Will be required to work most Fridays and Saturdays.
