JOB TITLE: Multifamily Assistant Property Manager
HOURS: Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Multifamily Assistant Property Manager plays a key role in leasing, collections and bringing the community's business plan to life, ensuring that our shared space is not only well-maintained but also thriving financially. Taking charge of the day-to-day operations, the APM is dedicated to working with the Property Manger to enhance the overall satisfaction of both residents and the community.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Providing exceptional customer service for our current and future residents.
- Represent the company with professionalism and kindness.
- Create and implement leasing strategies that attract potential residents and help us reach our occupancy goals.
- Recruit, hire, and mentor our onsite team members, cultivating an environment that encourages career growth and new opportunities.
- Conduct performance reviews, offer constructive feedback, and support initiatives for professional development.
- Develop and oversee our annual operating budgets, including operating expenses, capital expenditures, and revenue projections that support our business plan.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering various topics such as petty cash variance, leasing, renewals, financials, market analysis, and bi-weekly payroll.
- Analyze financial performance and seasonal trends to pinpoint areas for improvement and implement effective solutions as necessary.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, including preventive maintenance programs, emergency repairs, and capital improvement projects.
- Perform regular property inspections to spot maintenance issues, safety hazards, and areas for enhancement.
- Monitor resident satisfaction through in-person interactions or follow-up calls to ensure a wonderful living experience.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and legal requirements. Implement risk management strategies.
- Supervise and manage all administrative duties in line with company policy. Be prepared to travel by car and airplane for training; travel may also be necessary for acquisitions or other business-related tasks.

Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years property management experience required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to comply with operational policies/procedures, codes, and regulations
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 per hour
