Job Summary
The Juice Clubs is looking for an energetic, friendly, and reliable Barista to join our team. If you're passionate about coffee, enjoy connecting with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you.
As a Barista, you'll craft high-quality espresso beverages, smoothies, and specialty drinks while delivering exceptional customer service. You'll help create a clean, welcoming café where every guest has an outstanding experience. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso drinks, coffee beverages, smoothies, teas, and other menu items with consistency and quality.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient customer service.
- Operate the Square POS system to accurately process cash and card transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked work environment throughout each shift.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning equipment and restocking inventory.
- Maintain beverage quality standards and presentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Work efficiently during busy rushes while maintaining accuracy and a positive attitude.
- Help answer customer questions and make product recommendations.
Qualifications
- Previous barista, café, restaurant, or food service experience preferred.
- Experience using Square POS is a plus.
- Comfortable handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and maintain The Juice Clubs' beverage and service standards.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
