Why This Role Matters
The Manufacturing Quality Inspector plays an important role in protecting product quality, reducing scrap and rework, and ensuring our products meet customer and company standards. This position works closely with production, warehouse, shipping, and engineering teams to identify quality concerns, verify specifications, and support continuous improvement on the manufacturing floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Use inspection and measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to confirm dimensional accuracy and product performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Identify, label, and properly control non-conforming materials in designated Quality Hold areas.
- Record inspection results and test findings clearly, accurately, and completely.
- Partner with production, warehouse, shipping, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and reduce scrap or rework.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and quality-focused decision-making on the production floor.
- Provide additional shift coverage as needed, with advance notice and supervisor approval.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Quality Management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection or quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Quality certification preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and technical documents.
- Experience using standard inspection and measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and math/measurement ability.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to learn and work within digital quality systems.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and roll up to 500 pounds.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards is a plus.
- Flexibility to support varying shifts and overtime as needed.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
