The Patient Consultation and Sales Specialist is the go-to person for helping patients understand their vision correction options and all ophthalmology surgery procedures—especially when it comes to advanced technology for cataract surgery and LASIK. This role focuses on guiding patients through their decision-making journey, making sure they feel informed, supported, and confident. This position is the main contact for all Premium Cataract and LASIK procedures and collaborates closely with our surgery center team to ensure all surgical documentation is completed so every patient has a great experience and feels fully informed about their surgery.

What You’ll Do
- Meet with our surgery patients for Cornea, Glaucoma and Cataract procedures including potential Premium Cataract and Refractive patients in the clinic to explain their particular procedure and also connect them with the right modern vision correction solutions.
- Listen, guide, and build rapport with patients as they make decisions about surgery—great customer service and follow-through are essential.
- Prepare documents, quotes, and any needed paperwork for the surgeries.
- Take ownership of the patient experience from the moment they arrive—greeting them, learning about their vision goals, educating them, and helping secure a strong surgeon recommendation.
- Work closely with surgical scheduling, clinic staff, billing, and OD referral partners to ensure the patient’s journey is smooth and positive.
- Keep accurate records of patient interactions and treatments.
- Manage follow-up by reaching out to patients who have shown interest in various procedures including our advanced technology offerings and helping them understand their options, and reconnecting with those who may have delayed treatment.

- Ophthalmology knowledge a plus.
- Spanish speaking a plus.
