Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated, professional, and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our specialized men’s health clinic. This role focuses on providing high-quality, discrete, and personalized clinical care to male patients. You will work closely with our healthcare providers to administer treatments, conduct diagnostic tests, and educate patients on long-term wellness plans.
Core Responsibilities:
- Clinical Care: Administer intramuscular (IM) injections, perform venipuncture (blood draws), and check patient vital signs.
- Patient Intake: Conduct comprehensive medical histories, document symptoms, and update Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Treatment Coordination: Assist providers with therapies for testosterone replacement (TRT), erectile dysfunction, shockwave therapy, weight loss management, and peptide therapy.
- Patient Education: Guide patients on self-injection techniques, medication side effects, and overall lifestyle modifications.
- Lab Management: Process laboratory specimens, review incoming lab results, and flag abnormal values for provider review.
- Pharmacy Coordination: Manage prescription refills, coordinate with compounding pharmacies, and maintain clinical inventory.
- Patient Support: Answer clinical questions via phone or secure patient portals, ensuring a high level of privacy and comfort.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted New Jersey LPN or RN license.
- Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience; background in urology, endocrinology, men's health, or outpatient clinics is highly preferred.
- Skills: Exceptional phlebotomy skills, strong communication abilities, and proficiency with EHR systems.
Physical & Work Environment:
- Setting: Modern, private outpatient clinic.
- Schedule: Day shifts only (typically Monday through Friday), with no overnight shifts, mandatory on-call hours, or major holidays.
- Demands: Frequent standing, walking, and precise manual dexterity for clinical procedures.
Other Requirements:
- Must have your own reliable vehicle transportation (Required)
- Ability to commute daily to Holmdel, NJ and East Brunswick, NJ (Required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a non-insurance-based (self-pay/cash) medical clinic.
- Background in sales or high-paced customer service (e.g., hospitality).
- Knowledge of Men's Health topics (Testosterone Therapy, ED treatments).
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and scheduling software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive interactions with patients and colleagues.
- Empathetic and compassionate demeanor, demonstrating the ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and provide support during stressful or emotional situations.
