Millennium Machinery, headquartered in South Bend, IN. is the largest distributor of Citizen-Cincom/Miyano machines in the Western hemisphere. We cover Western Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida and international territories. We don't just sell and service machines, we build relationships. We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician in the Indianapolis area. This integral role is responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery equipment and all components that factor into operations of the machine. Other responsibilities include:
- Traveling to customer facilities mostly in the regional area (some overnight travel involved to assist team members in other geographical areas) to perform repairs, installations, preventive maintenance, and trouble shooting on Swiss CNC machines and controls.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on machine accessories such as bar loaders, high pressure units, mist collectors, etc.
- Solve operating problems and ensure customers have little down time. Resolve problems efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain a good relationship with customers with a proactive attitude.
- Provide comprehensive training to customers.
The successful candidate will:
- Possess knowledge of machinery operations and maintenance experience preferably with Swiss products.
- Have a progressive, self-starting, proactive attitude and a customer focused work ethic.
- Have the ability to travel daily. Mostly within the regional area. Some overnight travel.
- Be dependable with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Believes in high quality work and is generally mechanically inclined.
