Overview
We are a small, family-oriented salon seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play an important role in supporting our stylists and enhancing the overall customer experience in our salon. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about the service industry and eager to learn and grow within a creative and fun environment.
*Pay begins at $13/hour plus cash tips.
Duties
- Assist stylists with various tasks during client appointments, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of the salon, including workstations, tools, and supplies.
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival, as well as over the phone, provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
- Manage appointment bookings
- Support stylists as needed, including shampoo assistance
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
- Willingness to complete your job with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Shampoo experience is a plus, but not necessary.
