Overview:
Atlas Companies is a leading Northeast perimeter barrier and security fence & guardrail contractor with an active and growing federal project pipeline, including an upcoming Amtrak fencing program in the Mid-Atlantic. We're looking for a driven project manager to own it from day one. Clients include Major transportation, Energy, logistics, State, and Federal organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cost-loaded CPM schedules using Primavera P6
- Manage baseline schedule, updates, and critical path tracking
- Coordinate project activities between owners, contractors, consultants, and subcontractors
- Manage and implement all project submittals, project documentation/logs, RFI creation and response
- Support phasing plans and construction sequencing, daily progress reporting
- Lead scheduling meetings, Daily/ Weekly progress updates, and client required reporting. Monthly billing and value reconciliation.
- Identify risks, delay, and proactively adjust schedules and quality control.
- Ability to travel 50–70% across CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE and New England required.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in construction project management/ construction project engineering experience required. licensing Preferred but not required
- Strong, Specification implementation. Primavera P6 + CPM scheduling experience (required)
- Experience with civil phased construction projects
- Knowledge of submittals, RFI’s, project controls, and safety controls
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Preferred
- Experience with commercial, infrastructure, or public sector projects
- Familiarity with Oracle Unifier or similar project management systems
- PMP or equivalent certification
