1) Possess NYS Certification in Teaching Assistant required; Special Education or Students with Disabilities 1-6 with Generalist 5-9 extension preferred
2) Ability to use Instructional Technology to improve student performance and address professional responsibilities
3) Understand IEP mandates and assessment protocols
4) Evidence of academic success at undergraduate and/or graduate level
5) Strong work ethic; ability to collaborate with team/school
6) Strong written and oral communication skills
7) Possess a flexible, positive attitude
