We’re looking for a reliable and professional Locksmith Technician to join our team and continue our tradition of excellence. As a Locksmith Technician at A1 Lock and Key, you’ll take on a variety of responsibilities that showcase your expertise in locksmithing. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
- Install, repair, replace, and service locks, deadbolts, and cylinders.
- Rekey locks, cylinders, and deadbolts.
- Install electric strikes, panic bars, Detex alarms, and exit devices.
- Perform lock picking and drilling as needed.
- Work with Medeco deadbolts and cylinders.
- Provide safe lockout services and opening procedures.
- Change safe combinations or codes.
- Handle vehicle lockout services and key generation from codes.
- Read and decode wafers; repair and replace vehicle ignitions.
- Program automotive keys using tools like Autel IM608, T-NINJA1000, and AutoProPAD.
- Cut keys using machines such as Dolphin XP-005L and SEC-E9.
We’re seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications: - Experience: 3+ years in commercial, residential, and automotive locksmith services. - Age: Minimum of 25 years old. - License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Background: Clean background check. - Skills: Strong work ethic, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality, with the ability to maintain a full-time schedule.
This is a full-time, in-person position with the following schedule: - Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Weekends off
