Future Schedule: Family open to adding more afternoons
We are seeking an energetic, outgoing, and playful caregiver to provide one-on-one support for an 8-year-old autistic child. Support will include walking (~2 min) to pick him up from the bus stop and then return home and play/have snacks until parents wrap up their work day.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive one-on-one supervision
- Keep child engaged with fun, age-appropriate activities
- Encourage communication and social interaction
- Support his independence and daily routines
- Provide close supervision
- Use a positive, playful, and encouraging approach
- Communicate with the family regarding daily activities and needs
Ideal Candidate

- Talkative and comfortable engaging a child in conversation and play
- Playful, creative, and enthusiastic
- Patient and dependable
- Comfortable working with autistic children
