Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate must have experience in concrete finishing and related construction tasks. Pay is based off of experience/attitude. Must have transportation. This role involves working with concrete to create smooth, durable surfaces for various projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- 1-3+ years of hands-on experience in concrete finishing (floating, troweling, edging, and broom finishes)
- Prepare and level surfaces for concrete pouring, ensuring proper alignment and grading.
- Finish surfaces using hand tools, such as trowels, floats, and edgers, to achieve desired textures and finishes.
- Install forms and reinforcements as needed for structural integrity.
- Perform caulking and sealing of joints to prevent water infiltration.
- Assist in hardscape projects, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience or familiarity with the following skills:
- Hands-on experience with rebar installation, form building, and concrete forming techniques
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including mixers, pumps, lifts, or other machinery used in concrete work
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and protocols for site operations
