Responsible for providing radiologic care to patients for the purpose of diagnostic and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. The technologist will operate diagnostic radiographic equipment to obtain optimal radiographic images with the least amount of radiation exposure to the patient and to self. The technologist will ensure patient well-being and care while in the department. The technologist will be expected to perform other duties as assigned.
Alternating weekends, holidays, and call responsibility. Flexible Shifts.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Education Requirement : Graduate from a school of Radiologic Technology. Current certification from the ARRT.
Minimum Experience Requirement : Previous experience preferred, but not necessary.
Minimum License Requirement : BLS certification either upon hire or within orientation period. Maintains registry with ARRT. WV Medical Imaging License required.
