Holden Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center is seeking a friendly and dependable part-time Receptionist to join our team. This position offers 14 hours per week, working Monday & Wednesday 4:00pm - 7:00pm and every other Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
As the first point of contact for our facility, the Receptionist plays a key role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for residents, families, and visitors.

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $19.12/hr (depending on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Answer and appropriately route incoming phone calls
- Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Deliver flowers and small packages to residents
- Maintain communication logs for Monday staff
- Document maintenance issues observed during the shift
- Record and report incidents or any unusual visitor activity
- Notify the nursing supervisor of urgent concerns
- Conduct facility rounds, including verification of staff name tags
- Monitor for residents who may be wandering near exits
- Transport wheelchairs and walkers for discharged residents to the dirty utility room
- Provide directions and general assistance to residents’ families
- Assist with meal service by passing trays during breakfast and lunch
- Check in with residents admitted during the week
- Notify housekeeping of rooms needing attention and ensure new residents’ clothing is labeled
- Assist residents with completing menu selections
- Review visitor guidelines, pet policy, and provide instruction on the use of phone and television systems
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor
