Pay Range:
$18.66 – $19.05 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week) and Part-Time (20+ hours/week) options available. No nights or weekends, day shift only. Please indicate your desired weekly hours and preferred shifts when submitting your application.

This position primarily focuses on driving and delivery while supporting kitchen operations, food safety, and dining sites as needed. All Nutrition Specialists are crosstrained, but delivery is the main function of this role.
What You'll Do

Safely deliver meals to community dining sites

Load and unload meal carriers and supplies

Maintain accurate delivery logs and temperature records

Operate and inspect assigned vehicles

Support food prep, sanitation, inventory, and site operations

Provide friendly, respectful service to participants and volunteers

VOLUNTEER ENGAGEMENT RESONSIBILITIES
Silver Key is a volunteer centric organization. You may be regularly interacting and engaging with volunteers, so it is your responsibility to show appreciation for their efforts and occasionally provide guidance.
DRIVING DUTIES
Will be required to drive on behalf of Silver Key Senior Services. Must maintain a current, valid Colorado Driver's License. Must maintain the state issued minimum automotive liability insurance coverage. Must observe and obey all federal, state, and local traffic laws. Responsible for the proper function and maintenance of any Silver Key vehicles used in performing assigned duties.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
Silver Key Senior Services is a drug-free organization. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, criminal background checks, and a motor vehicle records review. Business-specific knowledge: Knowledge of Silver Key Senior Services mission statement, policies/procedures, business-specific software and safety regulations. This position does require a background check by Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS).
REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must pass drug test and background check prior to hire and periodically during employment as determined by organization standards as well as State and Federal contracting requirements

Colorado driver's license with a safe driving record is required. Must submit to MVR checks semi-annually
DESIRABLE, PREFERRED, OR SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
One or more months of transportation experience preferred. Experience working with Senior Citizens preferred. Experience handling money, such as donations, is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills. Ability to function in a fast moving and constantly changing environment. Strong computer skills including use of web browsers and the internet.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. $1 dollar increase for bilingual individuals (Spanish, German, Korean).
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires standing, walking and sitting for periods of time. Utilization of hands and fingers to operate office computer keyboard and equipment required. Must be able to reach with hands and arms, walk, talk, hear and stoop, kneel or crouch if needed. Driving light/medium/heavy duty vehicles. Carrying of light and moderate weight items. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Must be able to push and maneuver wheelchairs carrying up to 300 lbs.
VISION REQUIREMENTS
Position requires close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Moderate noise within business office atmosphere and vehicle with clients, movement and traffic. Some work outside and may be exposed to inclement weather.
